Size may vary but the smallest size of a full loofah is 14" x 4" approximately (36cm x 10cm approx.). We also offer extra large giant loofahs which starts from 18" (46cm approx.) in length and above!
This pic shows 2 different types of loofahs and a mitt. My product is the one in the middle. You will see that the fibres are reasonably loose which makes it very flexible. The other loofah is NOT Egyptian. Shown for comparison only, the fibres are very compact, it is not flexible and remains hard when soaked in water. The mitt is also shown for comparison only. I only deal in EGYPTIAN loofahs. The size of a FULL loofah is approximately 14" X 4" (36cm x 10cm approx.) (The width is measured from widest point). We also offer extra large giant loofahs which starts from 18" (46cm approx.) in length and above!
There are 2 types of loofahs Luffa Aegyptiaca (Egyptian Loofah)(in the middle) and Luffa Acutangula (Asian)(on the left hand side). My loofahs belong to the first type which lasts longer and has more even distribution of fibres. It is also fluffier, softer, more resilient and has no sharp edges.
This pic shows half a loofah which has been soaked in water. It surrounds a shampoo plastic container the size of small arm. When soaked in water the loofah swells and becomes flexible. It is very comfortable on the skin, cleans and exfoliates well.
This pic shows a cross section of half a loofah where it was cut by scissors. Please note thatthe cut fibre might feel slightly sharper around the edges of this area but will get softer after a few showers.

The line in the middle (on the piece of paper) is approximately where the loofah will be cut into two halves (This applies if you order half a loofah only).
Hand size (mitt size) pieces of loofahs. They are the size of a mitt. Width or length measures approx. 6" (15cm approx.). Mitt is shown for size comparison only. These pieces are cut from a full loofah as shown.
